Frantz Patrick Henry is a Haitian-born artist residing in Montreal since 2011. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal, he was awarded a Bourse d’excellence in sculpture from the Fondation McAbbie for his installation “Je suis nouveau ici” (2020). Active in Montreal’s art scene, Henry is involved with DARE DARE, where he serves on the board and various committees, and is a new member of Centre Clark. His multidisciplinary work, encompassing sculpture, painting, installation, photography, and animation, explores the theme of “devenir” by repurposing everyday objects into site-specific installations that invite viewers to engage with art through a social and geographical perspective.
